  1. JOHN SHARP says:

Howard, Ian Sharp is my name and I’m again raising the issue of the amount of mud being brought on Linney Lane and Milnrow Road by the construction vehicles exiting from the new housing development site on the former mill land. This work will continue for at least 2 years and should NOT be allowed to deposit mud on the highway then trying to clean it up with vaccum brushing. all that is acheived is that it is spread like butter and is flung up by by the wheels of other traffic onto footpaths , buildings and other vehicles. The mud spread is rediculess and not necessry if proper wheel/vehicle equipment is installed and maintained in working orderat exits to highways. It is against highway law to deposit mud, dirt,or debris onto highways and action should be enforsed to make the contractor clean his vehicles before they travel on the highways.
