I found out via Facebook that Bullcote Lane is closing on Mon 9 March for 16 weeks. Why have no signs been put up to make people aware of this. I travel up and down Bullcote Lane at least 4 times a day. Is it also correct that Buckstones Rd will be closed for some time during the same period.
This has now been delayed for some reason – see later post about same, not told why or when they will go ahead with these works. When I know more I will post something on my web site.
Confused, is the road closed from tomorrow or not? Anyway what I’d really like to know will the improvements include foot paths to avoid a tragedy waiting to happen to the increasing number of school children using this route to get to school?
Road is not closed. I have no details of the scheme and only by chance picked up it would be closed – was news to me. It has been delayed, they have now told me and i have asked that when it happens at some future date i am informed and some advance signage is dispalyed.
