As a user of the 408, and a non-car owner, I must say that the recent cuts have already been painful & these proposed cuts will make life even more difficult. It is particularly hard coping with the Sunday cuts as they make one almost marooned. A 2-hourly service that does not begin to take passengers from High Crompton to the tram stop until 12 noon is ludicrous!
I can assure people I do raise these issues. However keep the service at all was a battle. I am only afraid we will see many more reductions in non commercial services over the coming months/years.
59 service from Oldham to Rushcroft most unsatisfactory. Many of use have sat in Oldham bus station for 1 hour waiting to get to Rushcroft. One missing and this is the waiting time. Not good enough.
Always happy to pursue service failures if people will email me the specific dates, times and locations. howard.sykes@oldham.gov.uk
