The Council have informed me that despite the crews best efforts today they are approximately 3.5 hours behind on Paper & Cardboard recycling collections in the Shaw area this evening.
They have a spare crew going out tomorrow at 7:30am to collect this.
They collected ours but only managed to empty half the bin…… Not happy as its now full again!
I have received a large number of complaints about this weeks been service. I am/shall pursue them all. A key part of me doing that is if people can let me have their address.

Ok…..i left for work at 7:30pm, my cardboard bin has not been emptied fo 4 weeks now, my grey bin was last emptied 13 days ago, as i said i left at 7:30pm, and my grey bin had not been emptied, so when will the grey bins be done!
I have received a large number of complaints about the ‘bins service’ and I am/shall be pursuing them all. It helps me do this on your behalf if you can let me have your address.

Hi, my bin was emptied at approximately 3.30pm today, thankfully. I hope it has been brought to the councils attention that the wait to have the cardboard /paper bins emptied over the festive period is not acceptable, we all pay our council tax, and for us in shaw pay a little more so u would think that given the fact we all have more card over Xmas this bin shud take priority. I’m sorry to moan but this has been annoying me and my neighbours for weeks.

Already made this point when the proposed the Christmas and New year bin schedule was announced. The other impact it look at all the litter and rubbish it has generated. Rest assured I am my colleagues will continue to raise this matter.

Our bin day is Friday so we missed two weeks collection. Not a problem took a trip to our recycling centre after all that’s what it’s there for. But when our bins were eventually emptied the bin lads did a good job and took any excess as well. Well done lads
