Something does need to be done on that junction.
It really is quite dangerous with many risk factors:
    – many dangerously speeding vehicles on all of the roads to/through it, especially mortorbikes. No speed control on any of these for some distance.
    – many horse riders, cyclists, runners, walkers and farm vehicles use the adjoining roads and cross the junction
    – A627 is a blind curve with the disused restaurant on the corner blocking vision for vehicles going into/out of Buckstones Road, where large queues can build up at peak times
    – The junction and roads around do get icy, being at about 1100′, and with standing water a common problem, particularly in front of the Kings Arms
    – No pedestrian crossing points despite the public footpaths meeting there.

No sign of any work starting on Thursday or Friday.

I have no idea why the promised works have not started but have already ask the question why not and when will they.
