UPDATE – temporary traffic lights bottom of Buckstones Road Shaw
The faulty lights were reported earlier this morning.
The Council have issued a fine for no traffic operative on site as per permit condition. Hopefully was has arrived now.

There should be phone contact details on every set of temporary traffic lights for such instances. Should be mandatory
It is and there was but they should have also had some one on site – so failure and fine.
More on the line of a large road sign with contact details on which motorists could actually see. Nigh on impossible to read the small print on the side of the traffic light boxes without abandoning ones vehicle .
Have made the same point myself but the legislation does not state a size so they comply by using small print.
