Missing mail box at Hillside Avenue has now been replaced
It has been replaced but was not in use when I took this picture on Monday afternoon.
I am still pursuing the others that have been missing for a much longer period. Any news or up dates will let people know.
Traffic signals Jubilee Bridge, Milnrow Road, Shaw
A problem has come to light regarding a leak on a major water pipe at jubilee bends crossing over the Metrolink lines. Temporary signals are to be used on the bends until the repair is complete – details on the attached sheet. They have been instructed to manual operate between 7am-7pm.

Missed bins Shaw 27 May 16
I have been informed that the Council has approx 20 minutes of Food & Garden collections left to complete in Shaw this evening. This is in the Smallbrook Road area. Please note that this will be completed first thing in the morning.
Other missing Royal Mail boxes in Shaw and Crompton
Now missing from: Milnrow Road – entrance to Dunwood Park Courts, Longley Street/Oldham Road, Salts Street/Glebe Street and Long Rushes – High Crompton.
We are pursuing Royal Mail about all of these.

Shaw and Crompton Parish Council Chairman’s Civic Service and Procession – Sunday 5 June 2016
The Chairman of the Parish Council, Councillor Angie Farrell and her consort, Wayne Cheeseman, cordially invite you to join them for the Chairman’s Civic Service on Sunday, 5 June 2016 at The Salvation Army Citadel, Farrow Street, Shaw, OL2 8QY to commence at 10.00am.
It is planned to meet at 1 Kershaw Street East, Shaw, OL2 8AB at 9.00am before processing to the Citadel at 9.30am. If you are unable to take part in the procession please make your way directly to the Citadel.
After the service light refreshments will be served at the Citadel.
